CEREC 3D Ceramic filling in One Day - One Visit
The advance technology to fabricate the ceramic inlay (tooth color filling) is using the computer CAD/CAM called CEREC. CEREC technique use digital impression computer milling process on ceramic block to fit with the dentists design in the computer which normally takes about 15 - 20 minutes. After getting the ceramic inlay , the dentists will bond to the patient's tooth and finish the treatment just in one appointment.

Intra-oral Camera
If you've ever wonderedwhat your dentist sees when examining your teeth , a new device called the intra - oral camera can be used. An intra - oral camera is essentially a small television camera fitted onto a pen-sized wand. By placing the device inside your mouth , your dentists can exploreand record images 40 times larger than the actual size.
The camera is connected to a video monitor that stores and displays the digital photos as a visual record. Dentists use this device to help diagnose a patient's and health status. We've also discovered that the patients understand their oral health status better after viewing their mouth close - up! This technology has been introduced to our patients at Asavanant Dental Clinic since January 2000.

Virtual Reality I - glasses

Digital X-rays
Digital technology has changed theway we look at the world. And for dentists - it's changing the way we look at X- rays! With this digital X- rays technology , we can reduce the radiation up to 70% comparing to the conventional X - rays film technique. This elminantes film processing and get radiograph results instantly on computer monitor. Once X - ray image is stored in a computers' database and saved in a patient's computer file. If a copy is desired , a print - out or electronic mail can transfer the image. That's the great advantage to digital X - rays.
