| The Oral Cancer Screening System (VELscope) |
Dental checkups every 6 months are required for a patients’ good oral health, as well as to reduce risk of oral cancer. Now, dental equipment has improved to examine and identify abnormal changes of oral soft-tissue at the earliest stage. With Blue Light technology and special light screening, dentists are able to view lesions in the mouth which cannot be seen via ordinary vision. Asavanant Dental Clinic was the first to introduce VELscope examination in Thailand in October 2008.
