On February 20th - 21st, 2008, Asavanant Continuing Education Center organized an annual meeting under the topic “Emergency Treatment in Dental Practice” at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, Bangkok. The first day was about the basic principle on Oro-facial Pain Control Theory, to diagnose the cause of pain, include the emergency treatment to relief the pain effectively. Guest speakers are six specialists namely : Assist.Prof. Dr.Panupen Sitthisomwong “Orofacial Pain & TMD Emergency Treatment”, Assist.Prof. Dr.Chantavat Sitthiboonyapan “Endodontic Emergency Treatment”, Dr.Vidhita Gongsakdi “Emergency Treatment in Periodontic Dentistry”, Dr. Kulaya Ratanapridakul “Emergency Treatment in Pediatric Dentistry”, Dr.Pranee Kritpipat “Restorative Emergency Treatment” and Assist.Prof. Dr.Korakot Boripantakul
On Thursday 21st, the topic was focus on Oral Surgery by Col.Dr.Preutichai Buriyameathakul. For dental problems from accident and knowledge of medicine used during treatment by Assist.Prof. Dr.Benjamas Apipan. Afternoon session was about how to rescue patients under emergwwwency condition. The participants practiced CPR in manikin under the close supervision of the rescue staffs from Leardsin Hospital. |
